Varicose veins may appear as purplish, knotted
veins. Many patients also may experience one or more of the following
symptoms:
- Pain (aching
or cramping feeling)
- Swelling
or throbbing
- Tiredness
or heaviness
- Burning
or tingling sensations
- Tender areas
around the veins
If you delay treatment your symptoms may progress
and lead to more serious complications including inflammation,
ankle sores or skin ulcers, blood clots and bleeding. If you
are presently experiencing any of the aforementioned symptoms,
consult your physician as treatment may be required. |
